Most anticipated Book releases for 2018
So I am obviously a little late to the party with this, since it’s already the start of April! But I thought I would share my most anticipated book releases for the rest of 2018. There are some super exciting titles being released this year and I honestly can’t wait to read every single one of them.
The Fates Divide – Veronica Roth
After finally reading Carve The Mark a few weeks ago, I am actually very excited for this one. I just really need to find out how the fated characters all end up reaching their fates, and what the heck is going on with all the Currentpowers!
You can read my review for Carve the Mark HERE.
Leah on the Offbeat – Becky Albertalli
Who wouldn’t jump at the chance to be back in Simon’s world again, but this time it’s all from Leah’s point of view. I am very excited for this one. Also this one is definitely going to be popular after the release of Love, Simon (which is so damn funny by the way!)
If you haven’t read Simon vs the Homo Sapien Agenda, do that immediately. Make sure you have some Oreos on you when you do! You can find my Simon inspired Oreo Truffle recipe HERE.
I Was Born for This – Alice Oseman
This title was only recently brought to my attention, but now I can’t wait to get my hands on it. It really sounds like the perfect book for a fangirl like me, even though I think i am now officially too old to still be a fangirl.
If you were ever obsessed with a band (or still are now), then check this one out. It sounds super fun!
A Court of Frost and Starlight – Sarah J. Maas
I’m pretty sure this one is on almost everyone’s lists this year. I can’t even contain all the feels I have for this series and I am beyond happy to be getting another installment!
I am rereading the series now so I am super prepared to dive in with it all fresh in my mind. Are you rereading the series too? If you are send me a message and we can chat!!!
The Outsider – Stephen King
I am a big Stephen King fan, so I am always excited for him to release something new. It is very rare that I do not enjoy a Stephen King book.
However I can’t always keep up as he brings books out almost as often as I bake cookies… and I bake cookies a lot!
Witchsign – Den Patrick
Another one that I only became aware of recently, but my goodness am I keen to get my hands on it. It sounds dark and wonderful and just like something I will absolutely love!
And there’s Magic and Dragons so, you know… that’s pretty awesome!
Save the Date – Morgan Matson
Oh my goodness, I am ridiculously excited for this one. I am a massive Morgan Matson fan so I am always happy when she releases something new. Now the question is… will it be able to top Since You’ve Been Gone…?
Probably not because Frank Porter is everything.
A Thousand Perfect Notes – C.G Drews
Okay so just in case you have been living under a rock and have no idea about this… The amazing and wonderful C.G Drews aka Paperfury is releasing a book!!! This is seriously the most fantastic news and if you don’t know why, you need to go and read her blog like right now!
As a blogger, and a long time reader of her blog, I am ridiculously proud and I cannot wait to get my hands on a copy!
Darksoul – Anna Stephens
THIS! This is definitely my most anticipated release of the entire year! The first book in this series, Godblind, was my favourite read of 2017! Seriously, if you are a fan of High Fantasy and love a bit of Gore and some absolutely fantastic Character Development, then you need to read Godblind asap! You can find my review of Godblind HERE.
Two Dark Reigns – Kendare Blake
This series had me hooked from the very beginning! Plus Kendare Blake is annoyingly good at ending a book in a way that leaves you really really wanting more… and then making you wait for the next book of course.
I will be a very happy bookworm when I have this one in my hands!
An Absolutely Remarkable Thing – Hank Green
Oh my goodness, it feels as though I have been waiting for this one forever. As a long time Nerdfighter and lover of the Green brothers I am super keen to finally have a book by Hank on my shelf.
I can only imagine how adorable and funny this story is going to be!
Queen of Air and Darkness – Cassandra Clare
Like you are at all surprised to see this one on the list. If you are still reading the Shadowhunter books at this point (there are just so many and it makes me so happy), then you are probably as excited as I am for this one.
Although after the way the last book ended I probably should be more terrified!
While you anxiously wait you can find my Emma/Julian playlist HERE.
