It’s Monday! What are you reading? #12
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a weekly meme to share what you read last week, what you’re currently reading, and what you plan to read next. It’s an awesome way to connect over books and to find out about new books for your TBR! This weekly post is hosted by the wonderful Bookdate. You can find my last ‘It’s Monday!” post HERE!
I am so sorry I didn’t post last week. I was out for the count with some mysterious sickness that left me stranded on the couch for a few days. But I’m better so back to the usual blogging schedule!
What I read last week!
Since I spent a fair amount of time on the couch last week feeling sorry for myself, I managed to get a little more reading in than usual. The Worlds Worst Children 2 and The Thousandth Floor were both sent to me to review by the wonderful people at Harper Collins, so I will be working on getting those up for you asap! I can’t wait to let you all know what I though.
The Sandcastle Empire was from a past Owlcrate and I was so so excited to read it. It sounded perfect for me, and in some ways it was. Unfortunately I found it a little rushed, and a little confusing in parts. Certain things needed a little more explanation than was given. But overall I did enjoy it, and it definitely had a bit of a ‘Lost ‘ vibe to it.
So many exciting books at once! I am normally a one book (maybe two) at a time kinda gal, but here I am reading three at once! Godblind was another of the titles sent to me by Harper Collins, and I am eager to get a review out for all of you. So far I am enjoying it a lot.
Sinner could not sit on my shelf any longer. I was desperate for another little taste of The Wolves of Mercy Falls world and everything that went with it. And The Language of Flowers is a reread for me. I was recently sent this new gorgeous copy (and one to giveaway which you can find over on my Instagram) so it was the perfect time to read it again. It is also a perfect book for Spring!
Another book I plan to review for you guys… Nevernight!I haven been meaning to read this one forever so I am so happy I was sent a copy! Also over the weekend I stopped in at a Secondhand Bookstore and found a copy of Teardrop. I have been searching for a copy forever so I was so excited to see this on the shelf. I can’t wait to get into it!
